Mminele reappointed Reserve Bank Deputy Governor

Pretoria - Daniel Mminele has been reappointed as a Deputy Governor of the South African Reserve Bank for a period of five years.

President Jacob Zuma made the appointment in terms of section 4(1)(a), read with section 5(1)(a) of the South African Reserve Bank Act, 1989.

Mminele was initially appointed as Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank for a period of five years with effect from 1 July 2009.

His reappointment is effective from 1 July 2014.

In a statement on Friday, Zuma congratulated the Deputy Governor on his reappointment and wished him well in the role. – SAnews.gov.za
