Minister Van Rooyen to bid Chief Moiloa farewell

Pretoria - Chief Keobusitse Israel Moiloa of the Bahurutse Ba Ha Moiloa will be laid to rest in Zeerust tomorrow, says the Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (COGTA).

The late chief lost his life when he was reportedly knocked down by a car on a local road in the North West over a week ago.

“Kgosi Keobusitse Israel Moiloa was duly recognised as the rightful heir to the bokgosi (chieftaincy) of the Bahurutse Ba Ga Moiloa with effect from 23 July 2013,” said the department.

COGTA Minister Des Van Rooyen is expected to attend the funeral service on Saturday. The department said the service will be held at 6am at Bahurutse Ba Ha Moiloa Traditional Council office in Dinokana village, near Zeerust. - SAnews.gov.za
