Minister engages mine sector

Pretoria - Mineral Resources Minister Mosebenzi Zwane has begun constructive bilateral engagement with the Chamber of Mines on pertinent issues in the sector, including the recently gazetted draft of the Mining Charter.

“The Minister is encouraged by the parties' openness and willingness for frank and robust discussions,” the department said on Tuesday in a statement.

The engagements continue and any announcements on the engagements will be made in due course. – SAnews.gov.za
