Pretoria – Free State Premier Ace Magashule has congratulated the new Minister of Mineral Resources, Mosebenzi Zwane on his new appointment.
Premier Magashule said it is an honour and privilege for him to have served the people of the Free State with Minister Zwane.
“There is a Sotho folklore that says ‘Mohale o tswa maroeleng’, which means ‘a hero is born from humble beginnings’. His works have indeed preceded him and shown the talent that we have harnessed in our province.
“We wish him well in his new portfolio and we are confident that his appointment will accelerate service delivery and strengthen the government capacity to accelerate the people's manifesto,” said Premier Magashule.
Minister Zwane served as a Member of the Free State Provincial Legislature since 2009. He has served in various capacities as the MEC for Cooperative Governance, Traditional Affairs and Human Settlements.
He also served as the MEC for Department of Agriculture and Rural Development as well as the Department of Economic Development, Small Businesses, Tourism and Environmental Affairs. – SAnews.gov.za
