Hungry for experience, eager to learn and ready to prove themselves - over 1400 young graduates are prepared to do what it takes to enter the job market.
The National School of Government (NSG), in partnership with the European Union (EU), is facilitating the Breaking Barriers to Entry (BB2E) for 1440 interns from Limpopo, Free State, Eastern Cape, KZN and Gauteng.
The training will run from 11 June to 13 July 2018. The inaugural group of 90 interns will be trained in Sekhukhune, Giyani and Polokwane.
This intervention comes as a result of the NSG/EU Public Service Training and Capacity Building Programme training on BB2E.
The BB2E is a flagship programme of the NSG aimed at preparing unemployed graduates to access employment opportunities in the public service.
The aim of the programme is to equip unemployed graduates and interns with knowledge of Public Administration and public services how they are organised and function.
“The orientation programme is underpinned by values and principles found in Chapter 10 of the Constitution and is aimed at orientating learners to the public service, equipping them with the values required of public servants,” the National School of Government said in a statement.
Since the target audience might not be absorbed into the public service, the programme enables capacity in good citizenship, respect for government and patriotism. – SAnews.gov.za
