Due to a shortage of capacity, Eskom is implementing Stage 2 load shedding this morning.
Stage 2 rotational load shedding got underway at 8am is expected to continue until 11pm tonight.
“Customers are reminded to treat all electrical points as live during load shedding,” said the power utility on Friday.
It also urged residents and business to use electricity sparingly.
The power utility implemented Stage 2 load shedding on Thursday, which was terminated at 10:45pm.
