Energy minister to hold talks in Mozambique

Pretoria - Energy Minister Dipuo Peters is today travelling to Mozambique to engage her counterpart the Minister of Mineral Resources Esperanca Bias.

According to the Department of Energy, the discussions will centre around South Africa's request for bilateral cooperation in the field of hydrocarbons and request Mozambique to supply additional gas to South Africa for PetroSA's gas-to-liquid plant.

Malusi Gigaba, the Minister of Public Enterprises, will act during Ms Peters' absence in the country.
