Pretoria -The Presidency says the ownership of Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa's two Cape Town properties formed part of his financial declarations to Parliament and Cabinet.
“The Presidency wishes to put it on record that two properties were acquired in 2010 through a loan secured against a different property under his family's Tshivhase Trust,” the Presidency said on Sunday.
This comes after weekend newspaper reports regarding Deputy President Ramaphosa's acquisition of property which is currently under construction.
The Presidency said the loan for the properties was acquired in 2010 through a loan secured against a different property under his family's Tshivhase Trust and further raised concern that an article of this nature could be published without seeking comment from the office of the Deputy President.-SAnews.gov.za
