Pretoria - Trade and Industry (DTI) Minister Rob Davies is expected to make a pronouncement on the findings of an investigation into alleged corruption at the Companies and Intellectual Property Registration Office (CIPRO) after he has studied the forensic report.

Davies has received a forensic investigation report into Cipro from an independent investigation firm tasked with, among others, allegations of fraud and irregularities including the Electronic Content Management tender.

"Upon assessment of the report, I will announce the course of action to be taken and will also refer any matters that may require criminal prosecution to the relevant enforcement agencies," he said.

Davies said police were still continuing with the investigation into other aspects of fraud and those found guilty of any wrongdoing will be prosecuted.
