Pretoria – President Jacob Zuma has extended his condolences to the families, relatives and friends of the nine people who passed away after being struck by lightning in two separate incidents in Middelburg and Witbank on Wednesday.
"We extend our deepest condolences to the friends, family and relatives of those who lost their lives during this tragedy. We also wish those who were injured a speedy recovery,” he said.
The President urged citizens to tread with caution during heavy storms during the rainy season. – SAnews.gov.za
