South Africans from all walks of life should continue to observe and enjoy this year’s Heritage Month, which coincides with the centenary birth of OR Tambo.
Heritage Month 2017 is being celebrated under the theme ‘The Year of Oliver Reginald Tambo: Celebrating our Liberation Heritage’.
In a statement on Thursday, Cabinet described Tambo as an African patriot, who showed an unwavering commitment to serve the people of South Africa, the continent and the world.
The month is packed with activities for all in South Africa to attend, including National Heritage Day Celebrations, which will take place on Sunday, 24 September, in Siyabuswa, Mpumalanga. – SAnews.gov.za
