Pretoria - Cabinet has called for the report on President Jacob Zuma’s Nkandla residence to be released to the public.

Briefing the media following the national executive’s last meeting for the year on Thursday, Acting Performance Monitoring and Evaluation Minister Angie Motshekga said Cabinet deliberated on the presentation by Public Works Minister Thulas Nxesi on the Inter-Ministerial Task Team report on the security upgrades at the President’s Nkandla houses.

“Cabinet endorsed the recommendations and directed that the report be released to the public,” said Motshekga.

She further said Cabinet did not discuss anything about the Public Protector’s interim report on President Zuma’s Nkandla houses.

Motshekga also announced that more details will be made available next week Tuesday at a briefing by the Security Cluster Ministers and Nxesi. - SAnews.gov.za
