African championship semis to be played at Dobsonville

Pretoria - The remaining semi-final matches of the Orange African Youth Championship under 20 will be played at the Dobsonville stadium in Soweto outside Johannesburg on Thursday. 

The first last four matches between Mali and Nigeria will be played at 12:00 on Thursday, while the second semi-final encounter between Cameroon and Egypt will be played later at 3:30pm. 

The losers from the two matches will meet in a clash for third/fourth place on Sunday, 1 May and the kick-off is scheduled for 12:00. The final will also be played on the same day and will start at 3pm. 

Amajita, the South African under 20 team, were booted out of the tournament in the last group stage match after they were defeated one nil by Egypt as a result, Amajita finish third in Group A. 

Mali finished on the top spot of Group A, followed by Egypt and they both qualified for the semi-finals.-BuaNews
