105 killed in air crash in Libyan capital

Tunis - A total of 105 people including 94 passengers and 11 crew members were killed in an air crash on Wednesday at Tripoli airport.

The Libyan plane was flying from Johannesburg to Tripoli when the accident took place. It crashed during the process of landing, said one of the witnesses.

The plane crashed at about 6am (0400 GMT) and all of the 105 people on board were believed to have been killed.
