Pretoria - President Jacob Zuma has extended his deepest condolences on the passing of the former President of the Azanian People’s Organisation (AZAPO), Nkosi Potjo Molala.
The Presidency on Thursday remembered Molala as a stalwart of the Black Consciousness Movement. He was also affectionately known as ‘Let them Dance’ or LTD because of his dribbling soccer skills.
“We extend our deepest condolences to the Molala family on the loss of this veteran of the struggle for liberation in our country. May his soul rest in peace,” said President Zuma.
Molala died on Sunday, the day before his 66th birthday, in hospital after a long illness. - SAnews.gov.za
