Struggle stalwart’s daughter passes on

Pretoria - President Jacob Zuma has expressed deep sadness on the passing of Lulu Dube.

“We wish to convey our heartfelt condolences to the Dube family, friends and relatives. May her soul rest in peace,” said President Zuma.

The Presidency on Friday said Dube, 84, was the only surviving child of one of the pioneers of the liberation struggle and first president of the African National Congress (ANC), John Langalibalele Dube.

She passed away on Thursday in Durban. - SAnews.gov.za
