Pretoria – The North West province is fast-tracking service delivery for its citizens.
On Thursday, government employees worked in make-shift offices in Jacaranda farm, near Klerksdorp, to render government services to communities as part of the accelerated service delivery approach introduced by Premier Supra Obakeng Ramoeletsi Mahumapelo.
Services that were rendered to communities included surgical circumcision, health care services, drug abuse awareness, registration of unemployed youth in the Department of Labour database and certification of documents.
Legal advice and other legal related services were also offered.
Community member Susan Mabele applauded government for bringing the services to the people as she was able to raise issues that affect the community directly with the relevant departments.
Meanwhile on Friday, Premier Supra Obakeng Ramoeletsi Mahumapelo, MEC for Finance, Economy and Enterprise Development Wendy Joy Nelson and the North West Gambling Board executives will also destroy illegal gambling machines. – SAnews.gov.za
