Pretoria- The Presidency says it has noted media reports about court cases relating to the settlement with the former National Director of Public Prosecutions Mxolisi Nxasana and the Nkandla security upgrades.

“It should be noted that all South Africans have a right to seek relief from courts and President Jacob Zuma respects the rights of those who wish to go to court over any matter,” the Presidency said on Friday.

It said that the President will only comment on the merits of the cases at the right time in court and will therefore not engage on the matter in the media, in deference to the courts.-SAnews.gov.za
