Pretoria - Minister of Sport and Recreation Fikile Mbalula has sent condolences to the family of former Springbok player Tinus Linee, who passed away on Monday morning.
“We shall be meeting his family and details relating to his memorial and burial shall be communicated soon,” the Department of Sports and Recreation spokesperson Sello More said.
Linee was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease in 2013.
More said Linee would be remembered mostly for his exploits for the Western Province and the Stormers where he played provincial rugby.
Linee also played nine tour games for the springboks between 1993 and 1994. – SAnews.gov.za
