Pretoria - The SABC board has suspended Group Executive for Commercial Enterprises Gab Mampone.
The12-member board decided to suspended Mampone following possible acts of serious misconduct while acting in his current position as well as when he served as acting group chief executive officer from May 2008 to December 2009.
"The Board believes that Mampone's continued presence at the SABC may jeopardise investigations into the allegations of possible misconduct by him," said SABC spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago.
