The Free State has clinched the highest number of learners who passed their 2022 National Senior Certificate (NSC) exams for four years in a row, scoring a pass rate of 88.5%, an increase of 2.8% from 2021.
Despite the Class of 2022 doing the last two and half years of their schooling under intermittent COVID-19 lockdowns, school closures and various difficulties, including curriculum trimming, they kept their heads up and still emerged victorious.
