Friday, December 5, 2014

Pretoria - Proteas batsman Rilee Rossouw has been withdrawn from the squad that will face the Springboks at the Mandela Legacy Cup match at Bidvest Wanderers Stadium later today due to a finger injury.

Rossouw has been replaced by Bizhub Highveld Lions batsman Temba Bavuma.

The two teams will play the match as part of commemorating the first anniversary of the passing of former President Nelson Mandela, who died last year on December 5, aged 95.

South African international rugby referee Craig Joubert will umpire the T20 match alongside Patrick Jele.

Fans have been encouraged to arrive early and participate in the festivities at the stadium. Gates open at 3pm while the match will start at 6:30pm.

From an entertainment perspective, legendary South African artist Johnny Clegg, Prime Circle and the Soweto Gospel Choir will perform before the match.

Fans will also get the opportunity to be part of an autograph session with selected members of both teams.

Tickets for the match are still available on www.ticketpro.co.za and range from R90 - R200.
