Pretoria - Science and Technology Minister Naledi Pandor has been appointed as the Acting President as of Monday while President Jacob Zuma is in Algeria on a state visit.
The Presidency said Minister Pandor will be the Acting President until Tuesday.
While in Algeria, President Zuma will participate in the South Africa-Algeria Bi-national Commission.
Meanwhile, Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa is in Lesotho to wind down operations following his tenure as South African Development Community (SADC) Facilitator in the Kingdom. - SAnews.gov.za
