Government notes Vha Venda kingship court decision

Pretoria-Government has it has noted the decision of the Thohoyandou High Court that granted a postponement of the planned coronation of Vha Venda king Tony Mphephu Ramabulana.

“We respect the decision of the court as an arbiter on all the legal questions in our country. We will study the decision of the court on this matter and will comment in due course”, said Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs Minister Des van Rooyen.

This as the High Court sitting in Thohoyandou granted the postponement on Friday. –SAnews.gov.za
