SADC meeting on Lesotho

Pretoria - A consultative meeting on Lesotho was held on Tuesday evening in Mozambique.

The meeting, which discussed the developments in the mountain kingdom, forms part of the Southern African Development Community's (SADC) ongoing efforts to consolidate peace and stability in Lesotho.

The meeting was convened by the President of Mozambique, Filipe Nyusi, in his capacity as the Chairperson of the SADC Organ Troika on Politics, Defence and Security.

Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa, who is SADC’s facilitator on Lesotho, also attend the meeting as well as Lesotho's Prime Minister Phakalitha Mosisili. - SAnews.gov.za
