SA team in Netherlands for ICC meeting

Pretoria - A South African delegation, led by International Relations and Cooperation Minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane, is in the Netherlands for the 14th Session of the Assembly of States Parties (ASP) of the International Criminal Court.

The ASP is the management oversight and legislative body of the ICC.

Minister Nkoana-Mashabane will deliver South Africa's opening statement during the general debate of the ASP on Wednesday.

While in The Hague, the Minister will also hold meetings with organs of the court and other dignitaries on various aspects relating to the ICC.

Minister Nkoana-Mashabane is accompanied by Justice and Correctional Services Minister Michael Masutha, as well as senior government officials from the Department of Justice and Correctional Services, and the Presidency. - SAnews.gov.za
