Pretoria - The South Gauteng High Court opened its doors on Tuesday after it shut down for more than a month to accommodate construction and renovations at the building.
The court closed its doors on 13 December last year. Cases scheduled for that period were heard at the North Gauteng High Court.
According to the Justice Ministry, Tuesday's re-opening was glitch free.
"Operations at the court are proceeding as normal," the ministry's spokesperson, Tlali Tlali, said.
