SABC board member resigns

Pretoria - President Jacob Zuma has received and accepted the resignation of Leah Thabisile Khumalo as a member and Deputy Chairperson of the Board of the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC), with immediate effect.

The President thanked Khumalo for her contribution during her tenure at the SABC and wished her well in her future endeavours.

The resignation of Khumalo brings the total number of board members, who resigned this month, to three.

Earlier this month, President Zuma received and accepted the resignation of Krish Naidoo and Vusi Mavuso as members of the board of the SABC. – SAnews.gov.za
