SA to participate in Moscow education forum

Pretoria - The Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training, Mduduzi Manana, is to attend the Moscow International Education Salon this week.

“The salon is an extensive international forum that will embrace leading innovation technologies in the education sphere,” the Department of Higher Education and Training said.

The Moscow International Education Salon will be held at the Expo Centre, Pavillion 7, from Tuesday till Thursday.

The event is aimed at enhancing access to quality education through public-private partnership and promoting international best practices to boost the personal and professional development of individuals.

Deputy Minister Manana and his delegation are expected to meet with South African students, who have been awarded scholarships to study in Russia.

He will also visit the Moscow People's Friendship University and meet the Vice-Rector. – SAnews.gov.za
