Proposed dates for President Zuma's oral replies

Tuesday, March 3, 2015

Pretoria - The Presidency has proposed dates on which President Jacob Zuma will appear before the National Council of Provinces (NCOP) and the National Assembly to respond to oral questions this year.

The Presidency on Tuesday said President Zuma is already scheduled to make an appearance in the National Assembly on 11 March for the first quarter, and proposed 14 May for the NCOP.

The Presidency also proposed 18 June, 6 August and 19 November for the three remaining quarters.

“Given the pressure on the President’s diary, some unforeseen circumstances may cause changes in the schedule during the year. In the event of that happening, the Presidency will propose alternative dates to Parliament as has been done routinely in previous years,” the Presidency said. - SAnews.gov.za
