President Zuma to give oral replies in Parliament

Pretoria - President Jacob Zuma will be back in the National Assembly this afternoon to give oral replies.

The session will complete the President’s cycle of questions in Parliament for 2016, after he appeared in the National Council of Provinces for oral replies on 25 October.

President Zuma is set to answer six questions from Members of Parliament.

These include government plans for funding higher education and former Public Protector Thuli Madonsela's State of Capture Report.

The President will update the nation, through Parliament, on the global economic challenges and potential growth of the South African economy; government efforts at satisfying the concerns expressed by sovereign rating agencies and South Africa’s participation in global institutions such as the G20 and BRICS.
