Pretoria - Paralympian Oscar Pistorius’s legal team is in the High Court in Johannesburg this morning to appeal the ruling by Judge Thokozile Masipa that granted the State leave to appeal the former athlete's conviction of culpable homicide.
Pistorius is currently severing five years in prison for culpable homicide related to the shooting of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp two years ago, claiming he mistook her for an intruder. - SAnews.gov.za
