Pistorious's case postponed to August

Pretoria – Paralympian Oscar Pistorius appeared briefly in the Pretoria Magistrate's Court on Tuesday where his case of premeditated murder was postponed for further investigation.

Acting Magistrate Daniel Thulare agreed to postpone the matter to 19 August for further investigation. The postponement was requested by Prosecutor Andrea Johnson.

Pistorius is accused of murdering his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on 14 February at his home in the east of Pretoria. – SAnews.gov.za
