Pretoria - Minister in the Presidency for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Jeff Radebe has been assigned by President Jacob Zuma to assist National Treasury and the trade union federation Cosatu in their discussions relating to the Tax Administration Amendment Act.
On 19 October 2015, President Zuma appointed an Inter-Ministerial Committee (IMC) on Comprehensive Social Security.
“The IMC will focus on comprehensive social security reforms with a view to address the gaps and weaknesses identified, as well as ensure the provision of comprehensive social security for all,” said the Presidency.
The IMC is formed by Ministers for Social Development as co-chairperson, Finance as co-chairperson, Health, Labour and Transport. - SAnews.gov.za
