Pretoria - Madeiran President Miguel Albuquerue will today meet Free State Premier Ace Magashule, where the two will explore opportunities for economic development and mutual cooperation.
The provincial government on Monday said Members of the Executive Council (MECs) will also be present at the meeting with President Albuquerue, who is on an official visit to the Free State.
Madeira is an autonomous region of Portugal.
“Both Premier Magashule and President Albuquerque will officiate over the business forum that will be held between the Free State and Madeira business people.
“During his stay in Bloemfontein, President Albuquerque will also meet the Portuguesse community,” said the provincial government.
President Albuquerue will be accompanied by a business delegation, his spouse and the Madeira Minister of Economic Development when meeting with the Portuguesse community in the Free State. - SAnews.gov.za
