Limpopo police nab man with human body parts

Pretoria – Limpopo police have arrested a 25-year-old man who was allegedly found in possession of human body parts in Xipurapureni, Malamulele.

According to Limpopo police spokesperson Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi, at 7pm on Tuesday evening, members from the local police station followed up on information received about a man wanting to sell body parts.

He said police rushed to the scene where the man was sitting in a vehicle and allegedly had a plastic bag containing private parts and two hands in his possession.

The man was arrested and a specialised team of detectives was appointed to investigate the incident further.

The team managed to locate the body of the deceased on Wednesday.

“The body will be taken to forensics to determine whether the body parts found belong to the deceased. The suspect is expected to appear in court soon,” said Mulaudzi. – SAnews.gov.za
