Wednesday, July 26, 2017

The community of Moletjie in Polokwane, Limpopo, will on Friday have an opportunity to interact with Public Service and Administration Deputy Minister, Dipuo Letsatsi-Duba.

During the Deputy Minister’s visit, the community will be given an opportunity to raise their concerns regarding service delivery.

Deputy Minister will be joined by provincial executives Acting Premier Makoma Makhurupetje, Executive Mayor of Polokwane Municipality, Thembi Nkadimeng, Health MEC Dr Phophi Ramathuba and the MEC for Sports, Arts and Culture, Once Moloi.

The community outreach is part of the ‘Batho Pele - Putting People First’ programme aimed at responding to service delivery challenges experienced by the community of Moletjie.

This will ensure that citizens are given an opportunity to voice their concerns and engage government concerning issues that affect their daily lives.

Focus will be on how service offerings are done, and what experiences the public has when dealing with public servants at service delivery points.

The imbizo is a strategic vehicle that enables the department to interact with citizens in its quest to improve service provision in support of the priorities of government. – SAnews.gov.za
