Pretoria - Brand South Africa will next week host a workshop aimed at encouraging stakeholders to participate in conversations on building a positive brand for the country.

The workshop will be held at the Anta Boga Boutique Hotel in Bloemfontein, in the Free State, next Tuesday.

“The Nation Brand alignment workshops are a critical part of achieving a coordinated and coherent nation brand image. Without this coherence, we cannot derive value from our marketing efforts,” Brand South Africa’s Stakeholder Relationship Manager: Government Toni Gumede said on Thursday.

Workshops have been held in the Eastern Cape, Mpumalanga and the Western Cape with stakeholders such as the Enterprise Development Council of South Africa, the Department of Economic Development and Tourism and Brand South Africa.

These various workshops shared insights on the importance of building a sustainable nation brand, the nation brand performance as well as the country messaging to strengthen the country’s national competitive identity.

Similar conversations in the Free State province will be led by Brand South Africa, the Department of Trade and Industry as well as the Premier’s Office.
