Appointment of ministers the prerogative of President

Pretoria – The Presidency says the appointment of ministers and deputy ministers is the prerogative of President Jacob Zuma, and should he decide to effect any changes to the national executive, he will make a public announcement. 

This comes after the Presidency received inquiries from some media houses speculating about changes to the national executive.

“The Presidency will not respond to the speculation and rumours in this regard,” said the Presidency. – SAnews.gov.za
